The Otter Street Fishing Club began back in 1961 as strictly an ice fishing club with the purpose of supplying ice bridges and plowed roads to those looking to access Lake Winnebago during Wisconsin's coldest winters. The Club was comprised of nearly a dozen guys looking for ways to achieve our objective. And, shortly after that, not only were we maintaining ice bridges and plowing roads on Winnebago for the fishing community to use, we also began playing an active role in conservation and ultimately our lifelong commitment to the betterment of fishing on the Lake Winnebago system. Over the next six+ decades we've continued to uphold our mission, and have grown so much more. The goal we have is to continue to increase the influence of our Club's outreach to have lasting and truly profound impacts. We are a 100% volunteer-run organization, with 13 Board Members, and thousands of life and annual members that help us support conservation efforts year over year.
